Privacy Policy
Blink for iPhone, published by Elevated Picks, LLC. Last updated July 25, 2026.
Blink has no accounts, no sign-up, and no server of ours. Your puzzles, streaks, statistics, and settings are stored on your device and are never sent to us. The only data that leaves the app comes from Google's advertising SDK, and only in the parts of the game that show ads.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing. Elevated Picks, LLC does not operate a backend for Blink, does not ask you to create an account, and does not receive your game results, device identifiers, contacts, photos, or location. There is no third-party analytics service in the app.
What is stored on your device
- Your Daily results, streak, win percentage, and rank distribution.
- An in-progress Daily puzzle, so closing the app does not hand you extra vision.
- Your settings: sound, theme, and reduced motion.
- Your purchase entitlements, cached in the iOS keychain so the app knows what you own at launch.
- For friend challenges, a record of which challenge boards you have already played, held in the iMessage extension.
Deleting Blink removes all of it. Purchases can be brought back on a new device with Restore Purchases, which asks Apple, not us.
Advertising
Blink uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Google may collect and process data from the app for advertising and measurement, including a device identifier, advertising interaction data, approximate location derived from your IP address, and crash and performance diagnostics. Google's use of that data is governed by Google's own privacy terms.
Where ads appear, and where they do not:
- The Daily puzzle never shows an ad. That will not change.
- Full-screen ads appear only on the results screen of free Endless runs, on every second completed run, with a cooldown between them.
- A rewarded ad is offered only when you run out of Exposures in Endless, and the offer always includes a visible way to decline.
- Buying No Ads or Blink Plus turns off automatic ads entirely.
Consent and tracking
Where required, Blink shows Google's consent message before any personalized advertising is requested, and your choice is remembered. On iOS, the app also asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. That prompt appears in context, the first time you enter Endless play, rather than at launch. If you decline, the app keeps working and Google serves non-personalized ads. You can change your answer later in Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking.
Purchases
No Ads, Blink Plus Monthly, and Blink Plus Lifetime are handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account. The app only receives confirmation from Apple that a purchase is active.
Friend challenges
Friend challenges are an iMessage app. A challenge message carries a board seed and the two players' scores, and nothing else. It travels through Apple Messages the same way any other message does. It does not pass through a server of ours, and it contains no personal information.
Children
Blink is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content, but it is a general audience app rather than a Kids Category app, and it does show advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will look into it.
Your choices
- Turn off personalized ads by declining the tracking prompt, or by changing the setting in iOS.
- Remove advertising entirely by purchasing No Ads or Blink Plus.
- Erase everything the app has stored by deleting the app.
- Request information about data Google holds through Google's own privacy tools.
Changes
If our data practices change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
